What we collect when you use 1ClickPrint, what we do with it, and your rights over it. In plain English.

Who we are

1ClickPrint is a trading name of Jekat Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 09048025, at Unit 48 Dinnington Business Centre, Outgang Lane, Dinnington, Sheffield S25 3QX. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us its controller under UK data protection law.

Questions about your information, or about this policy, go to info@1clickprint.com or 01909 561888.

What we collect

  • Your order: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses, with what you ordered and what you paid.
  • Your photos and artwork: the files you upload to be printed, and a small picture of each item so you can see it in your account.
  • Your account: your email address, used to sign you in with a code we email you. There is no password.
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone.
  • Our mailing list: your email address, if you sign up for our offers.
  • How you use the site: pages you visit, the device and browser you use, roughly where you are, and which advert or link brought you here, collected with cookies and similar technologies. Our cookie policy has the details.

How we use it, and why we are allowed to

  • To make and deliver your order, take payment, send you order emails and sort out any problem with it. We need to do this to carry out our contract with you.
  • To keep records of orders and payments, as tax law requires.
  • To run your account, so you can see your orders, track them and download VAT receipts. This is part of our service to you.
  • To answer your messages. It is in our legitimate interests to help you.
  • To send you our offers, only if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe from any of these emails at any time.
  • To understand and improve the site and our adverts, through analytics and advertising cookies. It is in our legitimate interests to know what works.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure, which is in our legitimate interests and yours.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with companies that help us run 1ClickPrint, who may use it only to do that work for us:

  • Stripe, who take your payment. We never see or keep your card details.
  • Amazon Web Services and Supabase, who host the site, our database, your uploaded files and our emails.
  • The couriers who deliver your order, who get your name, address and sometimes your phone number or email, to deliver it and tell you when it is coming.
  • Google (Analytics, and Maps on our contact page), PostHog (analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram adverts), through the cookies described in our cookie policy.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our customers or our business from fraud.

Where it is kept

Our database and your uploads are kept on servers in the UK and the EU. Some of the companies above, such as Stripe, Google and Meta, may handle information in the United States. When they do, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK data bridge or standard contract clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: six years after the end of the tax year of your order, as tax law requires.
  • Your photos and artwork: for as long as you might want to order them again. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
  • Your account: until you ask us to close it.
  • Your mailing list sign-up: until you unsubscribe.
  • Messages: for as long as we need them to help you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete your information, where we don’t have to keep it
  • stop or limit how we use it, or object to us using it
  • give it to you, or to another company, in a format a computer can read

Email info@1clickprint.com and we will reply within one month. It is free. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would like the chance to put it right first.

Keeping it safe

Everything you send us travels encrypted, and only the people and companies who need your information to make, deliver and support your order can see it. Your sign-in codes work once and expire, so there is no password to steal.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we use your information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
